About the role
We are looking for an experienced Android Tech Lead to guide our mobile team and drive the development of high-quality, scalable Android applications.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and guide a team of Android developers
- Architect, design and build scalable, high-performance mobile applications
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers and backend engineers
- Conduct code reviews and ensure coding best practices
- Drive continuous improvement in app quality, performance and reliability
- Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and development trends
Required qualifications & experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development
- Expertise in Android SDK, Jetpack Compose and Material Design principles
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL and third-party SDKs
- Hands-on experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture and dependency injection (Dagger/Hilt/Koin)
- Familiarity with Firebase, Google Play Console and app release management
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring junior and mid-level developers
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
